This is to inform you that the new football and cheerleading team that is going by the name "Jr. Cowboys" is misrepresenting itself as an Absecon team. There are multiple cities involved besides Absecon that make up this team. This group is planning on being a part of the Cape Unlimited League. Unlimited meaning no weight restrictions or roster restrictions at any level. This group is in NO way affiliated with the Absecon Blue Devils Organization, which has been in existence since 1957. Cheerleading sign-ups for the Blue Devils are already underway, and football sign-ups are in late June/early July. If you are not already familiar with the Absecon Blue Devils, we are an established organization with the proper equipment, practice facilities, coaching staff and insurance. We are sanctioned by the city of Absecon and the Atlantic County Junior Football League. We are one of the founding members of the league. You as a parent have a right to choose where your child participates. Hopefully this is important information that will help you make your decision. Respectfully,

2012 Football & Cheerleading sign -ups / registration will be held on June 2nd in the Absecon Marsh school lobby from 9am until 12pm.

2012 Cheerleading Camp will be held on August 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the Marsh and Attales school gymnasiums. Camp times are from 9am until 4pm. Please have your daughter pack a lunch.

The Absecon Blue Devils are a member of the Atlantic County Jr. Football League. During the 2009 season, the Blue Devils will have football teams and cheerleading squads made up of more than 200 boys and girls ages five through fourteen. We play our home games at the Charlie Norris Football Complex at Pitney Park.
